ED'S DINER, SOHO THE BEST PLACE TO GET A PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE AMAZING!!!

Lucy, Low, and Harley
Visited Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue, Edgware Road to discover the areas hidden gems and delights! First on our search was Little Venice a really pittoresque area, the canal is lined with lovely narrow boat's in different shapes and sizes, our favourite was a pristine red square house-boat contrasted with a post apocolytic style boarded up steel boat. Along here we found a small designer outlet, Day Birger and Mikkelsen, located along the canal in a small traditional cottage.
From here we walked too Warwick Avenue, a relxed residential area. You may not find the outrageous and buzzing atmosphere of Central London but you can definatley take in the areas beautiful Georgian villa's and town houses.

In Maida Vale we found one of our 'interesting folk' 20 year old Nila, who sights her style icon as Alexa Chung, her outfit reflecting this style influence, her favourite place in West London is Whetherspoons, cheap and cheerful! A busy and charming area of London. We found a number of small antique and vintage stores hidden down narrow cobbled streets as well as some really busy and thriving commercial areas, where you can get a cup of tea for 50p from a small independent cafe just next to the tube station, we consider this to be a very good find indeed!

On our walk too Edgeware Road we took in the busy, thriving, cultural atmosphere, the street was lined with Shisha bars, restaurants and cafes selling a range of different cuisines from around the world. We aimed to visit this area at night as we had heard that it has a buzzing atnmosphere. Just off Edgeware Road we found a busy market on Church Street, offering you anything from fish too your favourite discount cleaning products, and all the bits inbetween. If you need any glamorous fabric then head to Couture Fabrics, they offer fabric in a range of colours, prints, patterns and textures. Towards the top end of the market road you come too much more high end boutiques, selling anitque furniture and one off vintage finds. This end of the road moves closer to Marlyebone.
The stand out part of Church Street had to be Alfies Antique Market, the highlight of the trip. A real aladdins's cave of designer vintage pieces, including Louis Vuitton Handbags from the 1970's, Roberta di Camerino(http://www.vogue.co.uk/celebrity-photos/090923-burberry-afterparty--23092009/gallery.aspx#/imageno/6, we spotted Erin O'Connor wearing one of the designers bags at a Burberry party) and Chanel Costume Jewellery. Chatting with the stall owner Patricia, another one of our interesting folk, we found out some really interesting info about buying and selling vintage items, she sourced her vintage clothing, accessories and furniture from all over europe, Milan, Paris, and Berlin to name just a few. We also bought some bargain vintage Chanel jewellery!A bit of a treat after a loooong day of walking and exploring!

To end the day we met in Covent Garden for drinks, and food and made our way around some great bars in Soho and China town!Hope you all enjoy the pics and can see what West London has too offer!
